Chain Letter of Awesomeness

I was tagged by PK over at Don’t Quit Your Day Job to answer the following questions.  Here are his answers to these same questions.  I don’t know why but I love chain letters like this.  Ok, here we go…

  • Have you ever been ripped off and for how much?
  • Do you have pets? Are they awesome?
  • What is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow?
  • Why are most childrens musicians terrible?
  • What’s the most offensive thing about the $5 bill?
  • Prior to Jeremy Lin’s current basketball greatness, he was staying on his brother’s couch because he didn’t have a definitive contract with the New York Knicks. Was the couch long enough to fit an out-stretched Jeremy Lin?
  • What’s the least you’ve purchased with $100?
  • What’s a reasonable amount of money to spend at a strip club?
  • How much do you tip the bartender? Really? That’s it?
  • How much would you pay for the perfect hamburger?
  • Is an iPad worth it?

Have you ever been ripped off and for how much?

I can’t think of a time when I was truly ripped off.  I’ve been manipulated out of money by people who were just using me.  Is that the same thing?  If so then it was a lot of money, I’d rather not calculate the amount.

Do you have pets?  Are they awesome?

I have a very old Chow.  Is he awesome?  Eh… I don’t know if he’s awesome but he’s sweet.  He’s so old he can barely walk and he goes in the backyard in the morning and lays out there until it gets dark.  Then he lays in the living room until morning.

What is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow?

What do you mean? An African or European swallow?

Why are most childrens musicians terrible?

I don’t know.  If you want some good children’s music then check out The Imagination Movers.

What’s the most offensive thing about the $5 bill?

That it’s not a $50?

Prior to Jeremy Lin’s current basketball greatness, he was staying on his brother’s couch because he didn’t have a definitive contract with the New York Knicks. Was the couch long enough to fit an out-stretched Jeremy Lin?

I can’t imagine it was.  Maybe it was a sectional and he slept in an L shape.

What’s the least you’ve purchased with $100?

Good question.  I’d say two bowls of Mac and Cheese and two bowls of Gumbo for lunch at The Blue Bayou in Disneyland.

What’s a reasonable amount of money to spend at a strip club?

$0.00

How much do you tip the bartender? Really? That’s it?

I don’t know… a dollar?  I’m a girl.  I don’t have to buy drinks.  :)

How much would you pay for the perfect hamburger?

$10.00

Is an iPad worth it?

Never touched one but I’m going to say No.

Ok, I’m supposed to tag some people.  I’m going to tag Hunter at Financially Consumed, John at Married with Debt, Lindy at Minting Nickles, and Jackie at Money Crush.  If they are in the mood to participate then cool.  :)
