Well 2013 is coming to close. Let’s take a look at my New Year’s Resolutions and see how I did! Here’s the original post from 2013.
I had three goals.
- To earn an additional $1,500 per month (all of which to be paid towards debt)
- Believe in myself more
- Do a better job of tracking business expenses
Earn an additional $1,500 per month – Met! I kind of fell into it on accident with the landscaping company but it doesn’t matter. Really “by accident” was the only way this goal was going to be met since I wasn’t looking for a job. :) None of it was paid towards debt though. We had a rough year financially, even with the income boost.
Believe in myself more – This isn’t really a measurable goal but I think overall I do believe in myself slightly more. This was a really rough year for me and I got through it. I’d say there was a 10% increase in self belief. (If you can measure such a thing.)
Do a better job of tracking business expenses – I guess this is met since I now do the bookkeeping for the landscaping company and I don’t have the luxury of slacking on that. But that really wasn’t what I meant when I set this goal. I think this goal became irrelevant during the year. That happens.
Do you remember what your goals were for 2013? If so let me know how you did in the comments! Fellow bloggers, feel free to leave a link if you wrote about your goals. :)
