I H8 Debt

Hello!!

I know I’ve been kinda MIA for a while.  I’m going to use the excuse that I’ve been very busy with my new job.  And while that is true it’s also true that I COULD have written blog posts also.  The truth is that while there was enough time in the day to do both there wasn’t enough head space.  But that doesn’t mean I’ve been totally ignoring you.  I have been thinking about you a lot and if I could be paid for feeling guilty then I would be have been getting rich these last few weeks.  I’ve been feeling very guilty for not posting.  Unfortunately guilt doesn’t pay!

I want to promise you that the drought is over but I also don’t want to put that pressure on myself because I think feeling guilty is one of the reasons I’ve been procrastinating on writing.  So guilt free posting only!

One thing I did do that I haven’t mentioned is get my new license plate!

How very cool is that?!  My friend Brad over at Enemy of Debt has the same plate in VA.

He said he had a goal to get one in every state but he gave it up because some states charge quite a bit for personalized plates.  Luckily AZ isn’t one of those states!  So I’m in on the I H8 Debt plates.  Who’s with me?!

That’s great. You could do a little project down the road interviewing fellow ‘I H8 DEBT’ owners :)

AWESOME! I feel honored to have been on the phone with you when you got them in the mail. :)

haha Travis. That’s right!! I had forgotten that! I would have mentioned it in the post. That was too funny!

Sorry, they cost about $500 for 5 years here or $200 for one year, so I will just participate in spirit. :-) Awesome plates though!!!

Bummer…can’t do it because I’m in VA. Glad you are back!

Thanks Sharon! I’m glad I’m back too. It is a lot of fun to write here.

Crystal: Yikes! Yes, that is way to expensive… just get a sticker! Jeeze! They are $25 a year here and I still struggled with that price. My friend was making of fun of me and was surprised I was actually going to do it. lol. I wouldn’t even think twice about it for $500!!

Great plate! I am always on alert for cool vanity license plates wherever I go. I photograph them and post them on my personal Facebook page. They’re fun conversation starters. I’ll be in Arizona in two weeks – in Phoenix and on the Navajo Nation – I’ll keep my eyes open for your car! :)

Rich: Definitely keep your eye out for me! Flag me down if you see me!
