Hello!
It was my site’s first birthday yesterday. Awww… Happy Birthday Blog. I can’t believe it. I’ve had so much fun writing this blog and getting to know my fellow bloggers. This is my second personal finance blog and both times the blogs have changed my life in ways I can’t imagine. Last time it gave me the ability to see an opportunity that I would have never seen or had the confidence to go after. That opportunity made me about $100,000. Not too shabby. This site recently got me a job. Not directly but I met the person who hired me while working on a project that is kinda related to this site, and I got the idea for the project from a fellow blogger. I also had experiences that helped me get the job from doing projects with someone I met because of this site.
It just all feeds on itself. When you are out there doing what you love things start happening. If you have a passion I think you should go after it. You don’t have to have a plan, just start. Start putting it out there and talking to people and see what happens. It’s a lot of fun!
I don’t have any links because I’ve been very busy with my new job and haven’t been reading. Which is a shame because I’m sure there was lots of great stuff written. Speaking of not having time. I am working on getting the posting frequency back up to daily. To do this I’ve taken on two staff writers so far. I might be in the market for more so if you are interested please shoot me an email.
